On this large scale beach replenishment project, ER&M was tasked with constructing all required dune crossovers (pedestrian, vehicular, and handicap), installing nearly 3 miles of sand fence, installing 4 miles of cedar post and rail fence, planting over 600,000 units of Ammophila breviligulata (“Cape” beachgrass), seeding 15 acres of Panicum amarum, and applying 2 applications of fertilizer over 32 acres of restored dune.
