Griff, Principal
Griff began his career with ER&M in 1993 and has a particular passion for tidal wetland and coastal dune habitat restoration. When not spending time at church, pursuing his passion for collecting antique decoys, or with his family and rescued Pitbull, he can be found hunting waterfowl, turkeys, and fossils in the fields, marshes, and woods of the Eastern Shore.
Jim, Vice President
Our VP is always on the go. Between the office, shop and job sites making sure every project runs smoothly. Jim enjoys quality time with his three kids. One of his favorite family traditions is going to see the fireworks on 4th of July. Did you know Jim holds a Blue Belt in Tae-Kwon-Do? So don’t mess with his plants.
Heidi, Controller
As the new Controller at ER&M, Heidi hails from Westminster. Originally from Annapolis MD, Heidi has been in the accounting field for 30+ years. When not working she enjoys motorcycle rides with her husband, cooking, and entertaining. When her Border Collie Stella lets her sit down for a minute, Heidi enjoys reading and journaling.
Karina – Office Manager / HR Manager
Karina is our office guru, always promoting a safe and healthy work environment. She is the caretaker of ER&M’s employees and focuses on employee relations, employee development and employee retention. When not keeping the office and staff in line – Karina enjoys spending time with her spouse and 2 year-old son. A huge animal lover, if not watched she could rescue all the stray dogs or take in a cat colony. She also enjoys working around the house, gardening, caring for her chickens and being active in the community.
Stephanie, Director of Estimating
When she is not cultivating relationships with our existing and future clients, Stephanie is dragging her husband to lectures of plants, ecology and sustainable landscaping. To which she then applies in evaluating alternate methods of installation for us. On her down time she works on her 2nd Bachelors in Natural Resources specializing in Ecological Restoration. Did we mention she does all this while growing her 2nd human? And what’s better than real flowers you ask? Stephanie’s stunning origami flowers, of course.
Bella, Junior Estimator
Bella is our new team addition. She has a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies
with a concentration in Earth Systems Science and Environmental Management.
She has a passion for restoring our natural environment.
On the weekends, Bella likes to tend to her house plants, read, do yoga, bake for her family and friends and spend time outside (hiking, camping, gardening, etc.)
Katie, Junior Estimator
Katie comes to us from the field, where she led crews in wetlands and forest restoration. She is excited to apply her field knowledge to her new estimating position, and to continuously be a part of making our environment greener! When not at work, Katie enjoys hiking and bird watching through the beautiful streams and forests of Harford County with her pets, Holly & Cedar.
Larry, Sr. Field Supervisor
This all American Hooman loves his 3 Labrador retrievers; Mosby (Black), Nolan (Yellow) and Braxton (Chocolate). He spends his free time working around his new farm.
Charlie, Senior Supervisor
Charlie manages our eclectic field team, ensuring that shop, vehicles, and equipment are properly maintained. If not on a job site Charlie can be found on a golf course, camping trips with his lovely wife, fishing, hunting, and playing softball on a co-ed team. Charlie’s diligent work ethic makes him an asset to ER&M.
Luis, Field Supervisor
Luis assists with fleet, shop maintenance and supervises ongoing projects.
When not working Luis enjoys camping, hiking, and spending time with his kids.
He has over 10 years of experience in helping people create a greener landscape.
